We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or performance of the OCR feature, calculations, or data extraction.

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Mistakes, inaccuracies, or errors in the data extracted or calculated by the App.
• Any bad decisions or improper use of the App's results.
• Any data loss, corruption, or inability to retrieve local data stored within the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that Cookie Bakery is not responsible for any losses, damages, or issues arising from reliance on the App's outputs or any failure of the App to perform as expected.

Access and Processing of Camera Data

We require access to your device's camera to perform the core function of the app.

Purpose of Camera Access: Camera access is used solely to capture images of physical receipts for the purpose of Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

Local Processing: All image processing, character extraction, and data analysis is performed locally on your device using an integrated library.

No Uploading: Images captured by the camera are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party by the App. All functionality related to receipt scanning is performed offline.

Data Retention: Immediately after the OCR process is complete, the captured image file is securely deleted from the application's cache and local storage. We do not retain copies of the original receipt images. The extracted data (e.g., item names, prices, and date) remains stored locally on your device for your viewing within the App.

Technical Data Collection (Through Sentry)

To ensure the stability, functionality, and continuous improvement of the App, we rely on a third-party service provider, Sentry, for essential error and performance monitoring.

Limited Network Usage: The App does not use the internet for any core functionality, data storage, or user tracking. The only information transmitted over the internet from the App is the minimal diagnostic data required by Sentry when an error or a crash occurs.

Type of Data Collected: Data is collected passively by Sentry only when the App encounters a crash or significant error. This data is considered Non-Personal Diagnostic Data and may include:

• Device type and model
• Operating System (e.g., Android version)
• Screen resolution and configuration
• The state of the application at the time of the crash
• Information about errors and exceptions

Purpose of Data Collection: This data is used exclusively to identify and resolve technical bugs, monitor app stability, and improve the user experience.
